Dr. Xiaoyang Zhao received his bachelor's degree in Marine Science from China University of Geosciences Beijing in 2021 and completed his Ph.D. at the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2026. His doctoral research primarily focused on the biosynthesis of fungal natural products. He subsequently joined Prof. Shengying Li's lab at Shandong University for postdoctoral research.
